Your life is like a road. It has corners, hills, and bumps, and flat straight stretches. All you need is clarity of the destination. During the journey, you may experience difficulties. A flat tyre. A sudden animal that crosses the road. Roadblocks. Flooded stretch or just serious traffic police who may pull you aside for routine checkup of your compliance with the traffic rules.
No one stays on the road! You must do your best to get to your destination, albeit late. The secret, therefore, is on not stopping. To arrive, you must continue moving at whatever cost.
Life mirrors your usual journeys. The secret is the clarity of your destination. What are you here for? As you move towards your destination, you will encounter challenges, disappointments, and hardships. Like any traveller, you must continue moving past such challenges for the bigger picture.
Are you deciding to bemoan your current fate? Or you are focusing on progressing. That is a decision you must make today.
We live in tough times. Do not give us. If you have internet access and a mobile device, now is the time to use all your online skills to contact prospective employers or potential business partners. All you need is a skill that you can monetize online and start eking a living. Many people need to work done.
Get a piece of paper. Describe who you are. What are your skills? What can you do? And who you can do it for. Do thorough research to define the prospective customer and where to find them.
On another paper, have a one-page marketing plan. How to reach those people. The best way to be happy is to focus on progress, not on worries about your current challenges. Solutions give hope. Problems kill hope. You need hope to overcome the stress and challenges brought by Coronavirus.
