The country has been blessed with a heavy downpour this morning – what a great start to the week.
On my way to work, I met many people some with their umbrellas, others with raincoats… all trying to be at their workplaces on time.
That is the kind of determination and attitude that makes some people winners while other people mere procrastinators. Many people go through a lot to be at workplaces on time. For others, it is a habit.
As the world transforms, many practices are emerging to respond to the working environment of the 21st era. In this age, Harvard Business Review has referred to as characterized by VUCA – volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous – world, some rules of work are changing.
To win, companies must design their business models and identify the working conditions ideal for it! A business whose model is not yet 4th industrial revolution ready, may not afford flexible working hours and approaches. Understanding the context is critical.
