Pro or anti tobacco, the war goes on.

    March 20, 2014 / No Comments

The ongoing parliamentary sittings on the issue of raising taxes on tobacco seems to have no near future end. Pro tobacco activists such as some members of parliament mainly from West Nile region, a tobacco growing area, Bunyoro and Kigezi regions emphasize that tobacco growing is a key source of revenue to the country contributing about US$ 115million annually. Tobacco is Uganda’s the second agricultural earner of foreign exchange making up 4% of the total export revenue the country received in 2013. The Managing Director of British American Tobacco Uganda (BAT) at a meeting held at BAT central purchasing point…

A victim of stolen computer or phones? Worry NO More!

    March 20, 2014 / No Comments

Thieves target high end devises like iPads, smart phones and laptops — many of which are owned by…

The Moyes’s win or exit ultimatum and lessons for leaders

    March 20, 2014 / No Comments

The Reds did it against all odds. Man U defied all rules and came from two goals down to win and quality for UEFA Champions League quarter finals. Considering Man U’s past performances, all betting odds were against them. Everyone knew Man U would never go through to the quarter finals this year. Since becoming coach, Moyes has taken the Man U through some of the most trying times culminating in a big loss last weekend. It seems Ferguson read my article and is trying to do the right thing – on job mentorship of Moyes. Apparently, the Man U…
