The National Identity Card registration kicked off on Monday 14th 2014 with a low turn-up. The activity started with challenges of few and late delivery of kits to some parishes. Registration in villages has been slow with people complaining registration forms being written in English. This proved a problem as most rural population cannot understand English. The Internal Affairs Ministry spokesperson Pamela Ankunda, said the ministry is equipping its personnel with more skills so as to add impulse to the process.
