    March 31, 2020 / No Comments

KAMPALA 30th March 2020, President Y. K. Museveni announced new #covid19 prevention measures which are in effect a total lockdown of the country. The President said with regret that some people had disobeyed some of the earlier measures for example returnees from some high-risk countries for #covid19 were escaping from quarantine, even when it was mandatory. And, the ones in self-quarantine were also escaping, like the Chinese that was arrested on the Congo border with Uganda. List of RDCs in case you need permission to transport a patient to hospital in your private car Due to this, the President said,…

The covid19 pandemic continues to escalate globally, except for China, which has reported having contained the virus. In Uganda, as of today 30th, March 2020, the reported coronavirus cases have increased to 33.  No death has been reported yet, which is very good news. The public is encouraged to be extra careful and follow government directives and personal hygiene. The president has announced that he will be making an address to the nation to give an update on the state of the #covid19 in Uganda. Leadership in the era of #covid19

    March 30, 2020 / No Comments

They say great leaders emerge during a period of crisis. And you do not need a title to become a leader. All you need are the challenges of the times which you embrace and find novel solutions to address them. A solution that is most effective at solving the problem at the cheapest costs, the more novel and innovative it is. The #covid19 pandemic is a leadership test of our time: who will stand taller and lead the world out of this pandemic? This is not the time for pointing fingers. It is a time for global collaboration to find…

    Starting with a bigger picture

    March 29, 2020 / No Comments

WHEN I WAS APPOINTED to lead a digital transformation project at a major financial institution, I could not anticipate what was in store. In consulting, there is a common mantra, “you learn more by doing what you have never done.” I had been informed the project was already six months behind schedule. This made it even more challenging and therefore attractive for me. I saw it as an opportunity to learn as well as up my CV. With a team of 15 people already in place, costs were increasing by the day. As an expert, I was brought on board…

From WhatsApp: Be good examples to your children

    March 29, 2020 / No Comments

This Corona Holiday might end up to be a long a holiday and our children are back home but the family lets AVOID FAMILY PORNOGRAPHY!!!! MUMMY: Please Stop sitting as if you are in the labour room; Opening your legs for your son to see your inner tight & pant. DADDY: Please Don’t wear ordinary boxers at home that you sit down, open your legs and your ‘thing’ is dangling and your daughter is seeing it. There are things you should not wear beyond your bedroom, just for your spouse. Don’t say because you want to enjoy your freedom in…

    Uganda’s #covid19 cases raises to 30

    March 29, 2020 / No Comments

Kampala 28th March 2020: Total number of confirmed #covid19 cases raises to 30. This trend is worrying. As of March, 02nd 2020, the government reported zero cases. Today, 28th March 2020, we have 30 reported covid cases in the country. Considering the state of the pandemic in other countries, Uganda is still doing great. But we cannot relax. You are all advised to follow the government’s directives to stay at home. And to be extremely careful when you move out. According to the Press Release by the Ministry of Health on 27th March 2020, four new cases tested positive for…
