I just read on a huge poster, “your work and reputation proceeds you.”
As I turned my eyes away from the poster, I looked at a fat man. Yes, a real African man like me, this one with a reputation proceeding him: big stomach.
I just thought about it inside. It seems we are selfish. The stomach is proceeding us.
Is your stomach proceeding you? If yes, no worries. This was a joke.
No bad intentions. Just enjoy the joke. Because I know, we Africans believe by seeing. The only way your success will be appreciated is by enjoying your money. Even there is a song to that end: enjoy your money.
